My
Background
Vision
A proud member of Phi Theta Kappa and a Jack Kent Cooke Scholar, I spend my time working with peers and honing my skills in research and writing. I am a team player and enjoy working with others to meet goals of improving ourselves and the world around us. When I'm not meeting with mentors or working in the English department, I like to spend time with family and flesh out my hobbies like sewing and reading. I hope that the same excitement for education and my work translates through my projects.

Mission
Graduate of Tyler Junior College and current Undergrad student at the University of Texas at Arlington for my B.A. in English with a minor in Technical Writing and Communication. After graduation, I plan to take a year to hone my skills as a freelancer before pursuing a doctoral program in Technical Communication. I hope I can use those skills to start a non-profit to benefit low income and first-generation students like me.
